Submission Description: Hello, I have received my dress today and I have to say that I am highly disappointed in this dress. The sleeves of my dress are entirely too big and shouldn't have beading on it. The very bottom of my dress was supposed to be tulle and tulle only, it has beading on it. The moment my daughter and I pulled the dress out the box beading is falling off it. My dress looks like a prom dress and nothing about it at all says wedding. My wedding is a month away and I have to find another dress short notice. The only thing that is fixable price wise is the sleeves. Me having everything else on this dress fixed will run me the price of another dress. I'm sorry but I can not accept this! Sent from my iPhone
Key Concerns:
1. Sleeves should not have been made with beaded fabric.
2. The very bottom of the gown was supposed to be made with tulle fabric only.
3. Beading is falling off.

CHANGE ORDER: Submitted to the client 07/09/2021 5:07 P.M
Upon producing a digital mock up of the client's gown, we confirmed the beading for the bottom portion of the Fit & Flare custom gown would be too heavy to realistically produce the same voluminous effect as depicted in the final sketch. We relayed this change order detail to the client before constructing the gown and confirmed that we would need to place a hard tulle fabric underneath the gown to create more volume.
The client confirmed this was okay and requested a tulle color that was similar to the dress or a champagne color.

Final Decision
Below, you can view our final decision based on the information and analyzed dialogue collected that transpired between you and your design stylist. Please review our decision and notes below.
We have carefully analyzed the information between you and your design stylist Tynisha Vargas. Based on the concerns you submitted in your complaint form we have evaluated and can conclude the following information:
1. We have no record in your discussion with your design stylist during the consultation period that the sleeves on your gown were to be made with tulle fabric. Your completed sketch also depicts a gown that incorporates the same design style throughout (gold beading with white sparkles to represent larger crystals) as reference to the fabric you confirmed to use for your gown.
2. We have no record in your discussion with your design stylist during the consultation period that the skirt on your gown would be made with tulle fabric. We did however discuss during the construction period that the fabric was too heavy and that the depiction of the sketch was unrealistic due of the weight of the fabric. We then informed you that we would put tulle underneath the gown to give more fullness, not change the entire skirt to tulle fabric.
3. When we construct gowns that are adorned with beading and sequin, we will construct with extra beading because beads are known to loosen when being handled. This includes loss of beads while carrying, pulling, groping, rubbing against other items, and more. This loss of beading ratio also increases when the gown is heavier. We confirmed that your gown weighed in at a final scale of twenty one pounds, therefore, it is very common for your gown to loose up to 30% of beading. It is best that you treat your gown very gently to ensure no significant amount of beading is lost. Here are some recommendations:
Store your gown in a garment bag by its hanger straps
DO NOT iron this gown. To remove creases, either:
• Turn the garment inside out and use a clothes steamer (only for fabrics that can be washed). Keep the steam wand 15" away from the fabric; or
• Hang the garment in a steamy bathroom.
• Always allow the gown to dry completely before wearing to avoid creating more creases.
DO NOT machine wash this gown
DRY CLEANING:
Use a reputable dry cleaner that specializes in caring for evening gowns and wedding dresses.
• If possible, provide the dry cleaner with off-cuts of the adorned fabric to test before cleaning the garment.
• Make sure the dry cleaner uses the ‘F’ (hydrocarbon solvent) cleaning method or Green Earth dry cleaning method.
• If the garment has metal decorations, you can ask the dry cleaner to ‘foil’ the decorations so they won't crack or tarnish during cleaning or ask for the garment to be hand-cleaned. Some cleaners will remove the decorations before cleaning a garment and then reattach them.
