Ways to Incorporate Lavender Into Your Ultra Romantic Garden Wedding

Updated: Dec 7, 2022

If lavender is your favorite color, this read is DEFINITELY for you!

For centuries, lavender has been known as the representation of devotion and undying love. It's a beautiful homage to romanticism and nature---- all while remaining a versatile shade that pairs well with almost any color combo. The relatively inexpensive flower (Yay!) is the PERFECT color to use in an ultra romantic garden themed wedding, be it an intimate elopement, or extravagant. This lovey-dovey styled shoot hosted by Vida Events is the very reason you should incorporate the charming color into your decor and anywhere else you see fit!

Check out how beautifully paired the sage ink is on cream colored envelopes. The handmade lavender paper takes this invitation suite to a new level! Small touches of gold bring this entire look together.
The Frock of the Season Pantone was on to something when it named 'Very Peri' as color of the year. Assuredly with spring comes the beginning of wedding season, and lavender gowns have been gracing the runways (and our closets) season after season. This quintessential shade for the spring is absolutely perfect for non-traditional brides as well as whimsical bridesmaids. For this romantic garden shoot, LVLY Bride used one of their favorite frocks of the season, the Liana gown. Adorned with delicately hand placed 3D Floral appliqué, the unique design of this LVLY Bride gown makes for the perfect garden focal point. Its semi-transparent bodice and exposed boning adds a light sensuality while the remaining elements of the gown remain soft and virtuous.

Duo team Maria & Megan of Vida Events, a Virginia + Indiana based boutique-style event planning and coordination company, set the most beautiful light and elegant table scape for this styled shoot. A beautiful oak table set for two was placed in one of the most secluded Middleburg gardens in Virginia and arranged with delicate 'Tara China' 10" floral dinner plating, wine glasses & one of their signature 'Louis Collection' 9oz highball goblet, all provided by Select Event Group to tie the romantically well-set table together. We see again how small touches of gold adds a luxe touch. The lavender and peach hues of the floral arrangements further unify all elements. This is definitely a super lush ambience to dine on after saying 'I do'.

Lauren of Hera and Gaia fine Jewelry pairs their 'Zelda Antique Oval' compass-set double prong ring with their London Half Round ring in gold and Aspen Half Eternity Band. The unity rings are surrounded with florals and accompanied by textured velvet ring boxes.

This luscious hair do and soft glam beat done by Suzanne Minskey of Beauty by Sue, an award winning wedding hair and makeup artist left us in awe. We're ( and by we're, I mean myself most definitely!) most in love with Minskey's choice of hair accessories. The pearl hair garland gives such a whimsical touch. Minskey took it a step further with added greenery (Yaaassss!). Wear this style for your garden wedding and you'll hear complements well after this memorable day. Her choice of makeup is a natural soft glam, allowing for natural beauty to shine through while elevating her features.
